Steven Huang
Steven is a Chicago-based architect-developer and founder of Pediment (Summer 2023). With roots in cultural and commercial work at firms such as Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, he shapes spaces that feel both refined and alive—architecture tuned to light and landscape, composed for daily life.
Steven earned his Master of Architecture degree from Harvard University, focusing on form and geometry in his studies. He holds a Bachelor of Arts in Architecture from UC Berkeley. Currently, he serves as an adjunct professor of architecture at the Illinois Institute of Technology, teaching third-year undergraduate studio.
When not engaged in design and development, Steven enjoys exploring antique stores in Chicago and traveling to historical sites. At home, he finds relaxation in painting, sketching, and cooking.
